Can stock lifters handle boost and higher spring rates?

I've been reading that Blower engines require higher spring rates to handle the increased boost. Will stock lifters work with heavier springs?

What is the threshold for stock hydraulic roller lifters (LT1)?

I've used Comp stock replacement lifters with up to 200lbs on the seat and 7,600+rpm on plenty of turbo cars with no failures so far.

I can't say for sure if the original GM lifters would fare as well.
