Can a D1 Unit be Sneeked by CA Emissions?

I can get a great deal on a D1 procharger but it's not carb legal (but P1SC are). Is it fairly easy to sneek it past CA emissions? I'd probably be taking the belt off and putting in stock injectors either way. They used to just take your word for the carb number but do they now look closely at the unit for a CARB sticker?

they looked at mine.

just get a tag and stamp the carb numbers on it, drill some shallow holes and rivet it on....

just a thought. it might work....we're talking about smog techs who's only goal is to not get into trouble (at least at a test only shop).
