Can anybody give me some input?

I've got an F1A sittin at my house waiting to be bolted up but litteraly the day after I bought it I saw that Realquick was building turbo kits. I would love to go turbo and have always wanted to, but there werent too many options for lt1s and they were way expensive what I could find.

What do you guys think? Am I stupid for wanting to sell this brand new blower to go turbo? I like the looks of that PT88 kit of Realquicks

Would anybody be interested in an F1A?

sold buddy

And no your not crazy, I 100% prefer a Turbo over a supercharger, the sound, the feel of the power, and the potential to grow IMO outweight the benefits of a s/c hands down

i'm a turbo guy too, but i've had a YSi kit, and worked on and beat on a few procharged cars.

you have the F1 kit bought and paid for, just put it on and run it! you won't be disapointed at all!

yeah we could start a stupid debate about how much better X is vs. Y but thats not the point for you.
the biggest thing that out ways you going to a turbo kit is that you have this blower set-up sitting in your house already and it works with the stuff your car has on it..

take it from a guy that can't make up his mind either....JUST RUN IT!!

I still have to buy the bracket and a few other random things to bolt the blower on the car. Im just afraid ill get it all on and still want a turbo down the road. It would be nice not to have to swap out pullies and belts especially since 12 rib belts are about 90 bucks a piece

go turbo why limit yourself to BOOST and have to die to the dreaded pully swapping.....

With an F1-A on a 355, you're certainly not limiting yourself with boost. It will make more than what you will ever need on the street and if your motor has been built to handle the kind of boost the F1-A can deliver (along with the rest of your car), you're going to haul *** at the track. Swapping pulleys and replacing belts are things that are seldom done (especiaaly if pulley alignment is correct and proper pulley selection is made from the start). But, if a pulley swap is needed, it's not a big deal.

I think the biggest remaining factor for me is just what goes on in my mind lol. I just honestly think that I will be happier in the long run with a turbo. I know either way I go it should be healthy so thats something for me to look forward to!

if you know what you want do it. Why build a motor you know your not going to really want.

PT88 will support 1000rwhp (as will an F1 I am pretty sure). It all depends on your preference... turbo versus blower. I am sure you'll be happy with either
