Cam Question

I see you guys like the comp cams extreme energy 218/230 and have a question. My car is a 91 Z28 setup with 12 bolt 3:08 gears, Aftermarket T56, and I'm planning a 350 with AFR 190 heads, 9.0:1 compression, Accel superram base, AS&M largetube runners, holley 52mm throttlebody, 1 3/4" SLP headers, with a single 3.5" exhaust, with my D1SC setup running around 15 psig. Do you think the 218/230 cam would work good with my large tube runner setup? I'm looking for something very streetable that will see little track time. How is the idle quality with this cam and at what rpm? Also would more lsa like 115 or 116 help me more with a long tube runner setup? Thanks for the relpies.

What's the LSA on the cam you have? If it's the usual 114, i wouldn't switch for that reason. In genreal, the cam you have should work fine.

Right now I am running the stock 305 which has a 114.5 lsa with 8 psig of boost, but I'm looking to build a 350 described in my post above.

I think it's a good cam for the purpose.
