Rather then having the bypass routed back to the blower intake, you just have it vented to the air.

You only want to do vent a bypass atmosphere if your MAF is on the pressure side, where it won't meter air that is going to be bypassed. The ATI kits have you relocate the MAF to the suction side of the blower. You would want to fab up a way to put the MAF back near the stock location if you want to vent to atmosphere.

Benifits are: it sounds cool, and you are not recirculating that air that has been heated by the blower back into the blower. Having the MAF on the pressure side has it's benefits too. Centrif. supercharger blow alot better than they suck... so any restriction you can take off the suction side (like the MAF) will help it to be more efficient. People have also claimed better idle/drivability with the MAF on the pressure side.

buy a vortech (or trickflow) elbow, attach the MAF to that, and go to Home depot and get the black 4" to 3.5" reducer (I don't remember if thats the right size, you may have to experiement) attach that between MAF and that up pipe from the intercoolers.

Do you guys recommend any specific blow-off valves to use? that sound good and look alright and fit alright too?
