I picked up the module. What should I set the start point on the side at?

 

I am confused by your question. Are you asking how many degrees of timing you should be pulling?? If so I would scan my car to determine whether or not you are getting knock. If you are not getting any knock then set the dial at 0 degrees.

 

Well, the module has the **** for the inside of the car, and a start point adjustment on the side of it. I'm just taking the needed precautions to avoid detonation.
