Blower Cam ideas on 383 build -14psi boost

I'm doing a 383 build on my 97z28 that has a procharger psc1.. planning on running pulley for 14psi boost. My heads I plan on getting them ported most likely, if not looking into assembled aftermarket heads.

What blower cam minimum and maximum specs based on my set up do you think I should be looking into?

You're doing it backwards. Figure out the heads and have the cam ground to suit.

Before you commit to a head porter ask to see samples of their work and talk to people who have used them before. Some local guys have been working heads for years and can do magic and some just go crazy with a metal bit and call the end result a port.

Chris is correct in his logic. You could have hand ported stock heads, and a big cam won't be as benefitial as a more mild cam. Then again, if you are getting a large set of aftermarket heads and having them ported, then you have more options and probably could do a massive cam like I have in my D1SC car.
