Big injectors

in a few weeks i will begin my turbo build up. we are going to use a Percision T76 Q-trim and hope for about 700rwhp. i have most of the build up figured out but i need some help with the injectors. the biggest i can find are MSD 50#. will those be big enough to handle and engine with 8:1 compression and a lot of boost? anyone know where i can get a set of bigger injectors? thanks.

I think racetronix has 57# Hi-z injectors, but you'd have to run some pretty high fuel pressure with those.

I'm assuming this is for an LT1.
Are you retaining the stock PCM, or going aftermarket?
If you are keeping the stock PCM, get the acceleronics low-z box so you can run the bigger low z injectors. You'd prolly want 72#'s

Check out the above thread. I'm really happy with the impedance box and my Seimens 72#/hr injectors. The 50 #/hr high Z injectors will not even be good for 600rwhp let alone the 700rwhp mark you want. And TimbrSS is right, if you want to squeeze by with too small of injectors than you will need insane pressure.

You definitely need to go low Z injectors of at least 72#/hr injectors. If you don't have an aftermarket standalone computer than you will need the impedance box.

Good luck

Thanks for the inof fellas. this is for a LT1. i will be using a F.A.S.T. sequential fuel injection control. honestly i don't know what all that will control or if that totally replaces the factory computer. i am building my engine and Fast Chassis here in KY is going to build my turbo system and handle the base line tuning.

I’ve had good luck with modifying 36lb/hr SVO’s to flow 77lb/hr… but the popular answer around here seems to be to run low Z 72’s or 96’s…

The FAST system will run low impedance injectors. Grt 72lbs/hr at a minimum. If it were me, I get larger.
