Another new best for my Powerdyne SS

Well here it is I did this at MIR at the Modern F-Body Shootout.
60 1.550
330 4.565
1/8 7.120
MPH 96.07
1000 9.329
1/4 11.192
MPH 121.10

I ended up second in the quick 8 unlimited I ended up running Joe Overton
I think I scared him he only ran 9.935 I ran 11.27 in the final round.

These times are incredible for a stock headed Powerdyne I'm glad I have plenty of witneses or nobody would beleive this

MODS- 1.6 RR, 52MM TB, AS&M 94-95 style headers with dual cat Random-Tech Y-pipe, SLP cat-Back, LT4 Hotcam, Powerdyne making about 7.5#s of boost, custom ASP 7-inch crank pulley to give me my boost levels I'm spinning that little powerdyne up to its redline, aggressive custom tuning, Race gas, and the Pro Yank 3600 Extreme converter this converter is Awesome its very efficient and allows me to really put all the power to the wheels all the way down the track.
Stock Heads and Bottom end. Oh Ya a realy good driver

Well done Jeff!

I'm running a very similar setup and also have no power complaints - that little cam sure does a nice job when coupled with a little blower

Good driver helps too

I did a baseline dyno with this combo a few months ago the third attempt was the only one that didn't shift down to second gear. so the car and blower were very hot when this run was recorded.

SAE 408RWHP at 5500 and 411RWTQ at 4400

it stayed at 408 from 5500 to 5900 where they shut it down.
they had to ease into the throttle to keep it from shifting so I think the real TQ #s are much higher and come in at lower RPMs.
The numbers would have been much higher with a cool engine and blower. My runs at the track are usually with cool engine and blower.

I think this is a good example of the way dyno #s don't translate to track times because it's simply not possible to run 11.1 with 400RWHP in a heavy car like mine.

WOW.

What is your race weight? What items have you removed from the car?

The temperature has a lot to do with it. My engine kept losing power after consecutive dyno runs. One thing the dyno doesn't simulate is real world conditions, like cool air entering the engine compartment and intercoolers. They did put a fan up during the dyno, but this is a joke compared to the actual conditions.
I think you are correct about the 400 rwhp generating low 11 second times, the 400 seems a little low.

Those are some beautiful times man... 11.1, so basically you could be in the 10's with no modification to the bottom end, that's nice. When he said hotcam I read that over a few times, I mean it is a nice cam but to make a PD car go that fast on stock heads, holy ****. Congrats...

I haven't done much of anything to the suspension. IRS LCAs, Hothckis sub frame, I have 1LE springs all the way around stock shocks, skinnies up front and ET Streets. I did this with a stock rear also
