Best way to change pulley's

I am changing the pulley on my powerdyne and was wondering what is the best way to hold the pulley if the belt is already off to break the nut loose.. also is the nut a reverse thread or not thanks,beau

Not sure on thread but a strap wrench should hold the pulley while you remove the bolt. That is what I used when changing pulleys on my p600b.

Everytime I change pulley's, or open up my Vortech for inspection, I hit the pulley bolt with an impact. Be careful of course.

Is the bolt a reverse thread or not?... and it seems like it is a #40 torque bit... DOes this sound right?... thanks for the info.. beau
