When I talked to White Racing he recommended the BS3 because the box was a sealed box and would be better suited for harsh environment under the hood.

ZBLKHELLRZR: Nice. I'm going for the stock appearance (aside from the pillar gauges). Though I'll probably talk myself into a cage after the first time I drive it. Going from ~450rwhp to about 700 should be a little incentive.

Tell me about it. I just doubled in HP too so a cage will be in this spring before the next season starts.

Will the White Racing harness work with both the old FAST box, and the new XFI??

they have a PCB interface for each and are not interchangeable (meaning you can't upgrade the FAST system and keep the same PCB).

When you order, they'll ask which box you have.

After reading some of his website I came to realize that this guy wrote the programs for ACCEL, FAST, AND BS3. He just decided to start his own independent company and call it BS3. With dual wideband control and the ability to work with Coil on Plug systems it is hands down the best system out there. My only problem is that it won't work with a delteq I would have to switch back to opti or LTCC.

Yes, but you would need either LTCC, crank trigger, cam driven distributor, or opti adapter(sold by whites racing) to make the ignition work. Since the opti is not an option for me I think the best solution is the LS1 style coil on plug ignition or LTCC

Only if you plan to go to coil on plug ignition.

According to the BS3 instruction manual, it should be mounted inside the passenger compartment.

Tell us about your system don't leave us hanging. Good points vs Bad Points. What ignition are you using.

Re: Best prices you guys have seen for FAST\BIG STUFF 3

What do you want to know?

It's an LS1 BS3 on an LT1. I'm running a 24X crank trigger, and the opti has been converted to a cam position sensor. Here's a pic of the converted opti.

The ignition is basically the LS1 truck coils (coil per cylinder).

For good points vs. bad points, I chose the BS3 because I feel it's the best on the market. It has features that none of the others have, and I think it's the best setup for a engine management system that references boost.

Who did the conversion on your opti? If you did it your self, where did you get the parts for the conversion? Thanks, Eric

Even better, 95 Z/28 LT1, could you do a write-up on how to build/install/wire this thing? I'd be very interested in converting my own opti...
