best clutch for daily driven turbo LT1?

I'm looking for something that drives similar to the stock clutch but will hold up to over 650RWHP. any ideas?

I don't think you can get a clutch that drives exactly like stock but will still hold that much power. But for your application I would suggest a mcleod twin disk for sure, with a steel flywheel if you want a little better drivability. I have one with the Al flywheel and drivability is the same as my last kevlar/kevlar normal clutch.

Only choice is the street twin... or a nice auto.

Street Twin is the only viable option, IMHO.

As stated above go with the Street Twin. Alot of people go the cheap route with a clutch and end up paying alot more later. Some people will recommend going with a SPEC clutch but everyone I have ever seen usually has some sort of premature failure.

is this street twin all or nothing, or does it react somewhat like a stocker? by this i mean is it going to jump as soon as i move my foot an inch or is there some play?

There is definitely play in it - if you are every in the college station area you can check one out on my car.

It is very easy to drive around in, but it is grabbier than stock. Not nearly as grabby as some of the ceramic or brass puck clutches I have tried.

I'll be in college station when i bring my car to Jordon, but while TSP is going through my tranny i thought i'd go ahead and replace the clutch. you're positive this is the best one for my application. aslo, what do they typically cost?

Street Twin is the ONLY option.

About $800 - $850 USD. Check Tbyrne.

And they are rebuildable. Mine has to go back in due to a little grooving in the floating plate. Never had any slipping issues and I was able to cut 1.90 sixty's with it on Nitto drag radials. I noticed the grooving when I was removing the tranny from the engine
