back pressure vs cam anyone tested?

I am looking at a more aggressive cam for my V6.

I have been reading a lot of things, it seems if i monitor the back pressure that would tell me how aggressive i can get with the cam profile

Has any one done this on any turbo setup? what were your findings?

It seems the less back pressure you have you can get away from split duration 235/225 and run 235/235 or run even split 235/245

any input welcome

current cam 224/215 116*LSA

Sorry, I have a V8. App... 97ss 383ci D1 MM6 Moser_12 AFR-190. About 15psi thru a large spearco air-air. Cam??? My 4th. I think I got it right now. Cam Motion 231/240 @0.050/ .538-.560 lft 114*lsa 110* CL. Back pressure is bad for FI. I have a Mufflex 3 1/2", and, have modified it alot to remove backpressure. It actually blew apart once. Air flow is everything. From blower intake thru the exhaust. High boost pressure @ the manifold usually means you have flow restriction. I had to pulley up (7.6 --> 3.4") to get 15psi. It is a violent power roll on now. My last mod is an external crank driven VAC pump that really helped cylinder pressure. Just my experience. B.

Bad for a supercharger... Turbocharged vehicles are obviously going to have backpressure since theres a restriction in the exhaust (the turbine housing). Exhaust pressure is roughly double the boost pressure, which is why you'll want no overlap or even negative overlap in order to prevent reversion.
