Anyone run this Pulley on a powerdyne?
I was looking at powedyne's site and they list a 9 psi pulley for the LT-1.
http://www.proficientperformance.com...ode=D10479-270
I bought a new powerdyne on eBay for a good price and thought 6 psi was the limit.
I'm planning on using variable control water/methanol injection for air charge cooling as well as variable MSD boost timing retard so 9 psi should work.
Does anyone have any experience using this pulley on their LT-1?

Not quite sure what thois pulley is. Unless they recently changed, Powerdyne only offerred a 9 PSI SC pulley for the Mustang set-up. However, they do make a 2.70" diameter SC pulley (which is advertised as the 9 PSI pulley for Mustangs) and if you ask they will modify it for use in an F-body application. It does require some machining to fit on the BD-11A for F-body use. Powerdyne doesn't generally like to do this since it may hurt the SC and/or your motor (if its still stock).
That said ... I have been running the 2.70" pulley from Powerdyne (had them machine it while I was out there) for a couple of years now. It does not increase impellor speed enough to add 3 lb. of boost, but it does get you to just under 7 lb. at 6200 RPM and no belt slip. Figure it is worth maybe 15-20 RWHP at best. But then for the price it may be a good deal if you don't have a stock motor (mine has forged rods, pistons, crank).
Powerdyne charged me $75 a couple of years ago so I would talk directly with them before I bought it anywhere to ensure it clears the SC housing in all the right places.

Yes this is powedyne's official site.
They charge more for the 2.70 LT-1 pulley than the Mustang.
Wonder what the difference is.
Maybe it's time to send them an email.
I'll post the response when I get it.

Yep ... I just checked their website and they have added the 9 PSI pulley for F-bodies. I believe it has a little bit more machining done on it to clear the head unit.
Now if they will only release the XB-1A head unit for F-bodies things will get better for me.
