Anyone put in a turbo timer?

I just got a turbo timer for my car as i have had some bad discoloring of the turbo bearings from not allowing the car to cool down after driving. For those who don't know I was told by Precision that you need to let the car idle for a few mins after every time driving it, even if your just driving a few min's. I was always under the impression that this wasn't necessary unless you were really getting on it. So anyway my question has to do with the wiring of the thing. All i would need to do to keep the car running is keep power to the ignition input on the PCM via the turbo timer, right? Also what happens when you take the key out of the ignition, is the passkey theft deterent system going to drop the fuel press enable to the PCM and kill the fuel pump? Just wondering if i'm going to half to put power to this also with the timer. Just curious if anyone has done one of these yet, i don't recall seeing any posts, and there was nothing in the history.

When I had my turbotech kit, I was pondering this idea as well... I have a clifford alarm that you can program as a turbo timer to leave the car running for a certain amount of time after you get out and arm it... To work though I had to disable the VATS system (simple resistor and electrical tape). Even though you don't have the alarm you that will most likely be your obstacle. Disable VATS and it should work.

I am gonna buy the Blitz turbo timer and boost controller, and when I talked to them on the phone, they were very helpful and knew their stuff. I think if you call the company that made teh turbo timer or even Blitz, they could help you out.

It is a Blitz FATT DA turbo timer.

How is this resister Mod for the VATS accomplished, i've never herd of it. There is only 5 wires to hook up.

+12 volts constant
Ignition
Ground
Accessory
wire to parking brake switch

If i were to try to hook a wire from the ignition signal to the Fuel Pump Enable signal then i would be essentially disabling the VATS anyway. Can anyone help me on this.
