Anyone have their spring tensioned pulley go bad on LT1 P1-SC

My tensioner pulley has gotten so unevenly worn that Sunday it shredded my last belt. I called ATI and its not covered under my warranty,of course . Is there any solution other than paying ATI another $200 for this piece and another $80 for a belt?

If your pulleys aren't lined up correctly or spaced right the tensioner will wear like crazy. I had to modify ati's spacers on the crank pulley to "true out" the crank pulley. I've got 5000 miles on the new tensioner pulley and the black paint has not even worn off.

You can get gates micro v belts at almost all auto parts stores. I think mine was only $30.

Thanks for the tip. As far as the belt, I talked to Ati and I have been to every parts store in the area and no one can get it for me. It is only made for ATI. But again thank you

I'm sure you've heard of SDCE. They do a great job but its big bucks plus alot of downtime. I'm having good luck with my procharger tensioner so I couldn't justify the expense.

Mine is an 8 rib belt which I bought at Kentucky Motor Supply. This is a local chain so I doubt they're in NC.

I replaced my belt from NAPA last week for $23. The belts are around 40 inches for my P600 set up but will likely be larger for the P1SC

Is that the 12rib or 8rib setup Jws6, I can't remember if the P600B gets the 12rib. 8rib belts are easy to find at part stores its the 12rib that usually has to be ordered.

I was reading your signature and I saw you got 12psi out of a P600B. It looks like your engine breathes pretty well with a CC305. Do you have any tricks your not sharing?

I've got the procharger 12pd pulley set but can only manage to get 10psi at 6200 rpm.
