I removed the pcv line from the valve cover to the throttle body, and vented it to the atmosphere. Where is the pcv line on the intake manifold, and what needs to be done to it? Thanks

 

It runs from up under the throttle body to the driver side of the intake manifold. It pulls blowby from the lifter valley. I leave mine stock.

 

I replaced my filler cap with a breater, and left the PCV hooked up stock. I capped the other line running from the TB, however I'm still getting a little oit out of the breather. Can a bad pcv cause that? Is there any other way to get boost into the block? ATI says to hook up the PCV to the maf pipe on the suction side of the blower.

 

ATI's procharger manual says just what you said. However there is not enough vacuum present to be effective. I would get foul odors at stop lights when I had it plumbed like ATI suggests. Also my oil would have to be changed more often due to all the harmful contaminants in the blowby.

The Pcv is a one way check valve so boost will not leak into the lifter valley unless the valve is defective. Some people have used brake booster check valves but I don't think its necessary.

As far as the breather hose, I've tried it all different ways. The best solution I've found is to run it to the suction side of the blower with a air compressor water separater inline. About once a month I must empty oil from the separater into the crankcase.

Yes, except mine is a Campbell Hausfield and I did not drill the holes like he did. I bought mine at lowes as well as the 1/2 inch threaded copper pipes that my breather hose fits so well over.
