Anyone have an Air-Water intercooler with JBA headers?

Hello,

I'm about to install my Vortech Air-Water intercooler on my 96 T/A W/Vortech S-trim and JBA headers. I was test fitting the core unit. . . and I think I'm going to have to make some modifications. . . the unit fit, however it was about .010" from resting on top of the #1 exaust tube, and almost butted up agains the #7 exaust tube. . . . So I'm prob. gonna have to manufacture some brackets to raise it up an inch or so, then I'll have to try to get the air inlet and discharge to match up. . . . Sounds like it's gonna be almost as much fun as my Baer brake kit I just finished (finally) after having to machine my own brackets. . . .

I am just looking for some feedback from anyone else who has the same setup before I start. -Also, any guesses how much clearance I need to have between the headers and the heat blanket/core? (as well as the water hose comming out the back. . . I'll prob. get/make a heat blanket for them too.

Thanks,
-Justin
