Any vids or sound clips of a Vortech S or SQ S trim?

If you have them please post. Installing a V2 SQ Strim on my car and getting antsy about it - would love to see some vids, pics, sound clips, or just thoughts on this system.

Thanks

LOL - thanks Dustin!

Umm - gonna run 7psi - I would run lower if I could but I think the blower is coming with a 7psi pulley setup.

I have about 95% of the money to buy some more parts from Jason Short - forged rods and pistons so once the shortblock is complete I may try to run as much as 10psi of boost and see what happens.

I forsee:

1 blown motor
1 blown 7.5" rearend
1 blown 4l60e
1 empty bank account
1 really PO'd wife/financial advisor
1 second job

Seriously - i'm probably gonna sell the tranny and converter, along with some other stuff that i'm not gonna need. Steering wheel w/bag, passenger side bag, moroso cai, stock injectors, seats, etc...

Well since your in my neck of the woods I'd like to see it run, but I have some family stuff to do with my g/f so Saturday is taken up. Take a video of it please, I'll also tell my buddy who will be there to watch for your car and take a video. I wish you good luck and I'll pray for your rods and drivetrain.

Why the converter and tranny? You cant use those? What CAI are you going to use?

Will be at QCR tonight for Street Wars. Blower will not be on for another couple of weeks - tying up some loose ends and whatnot.

Gonna dump the tranny in favor of a TH350 and brake sooner or later. Will dump the 4l60e while it's still good - don't want to blow it up you know.

Cai will be handled by the blower I think - as far as I can tell I have to ditch it because of the blower. We'll see - totally new to this.

Will also have cruise control box and ABS stuff to sell. Loosing weight

EDIT: Bah - it's LOSING not LOOSING weight - jackass

yeah, the CAI will be no use with the blower. as far as a sound clip or video. your probably not going to hear the blower unless someone uses a really good microphone. the V-2 SQ is extremely quiet.

i was really surprised after i put mine on that i had to really listen to hear the blower at all....
