I bought five gallons of 99% pure methanol from a candlemaker store near my house at 2.80 a gallon. It looks like it is going to last me about 6 months running straight methanol. For a street car this is a killer deal. It is like running race gas but without the cost.

The alkycontrol kit has a low level led which will begin to flash going around corners at half a tank. It also has a pump pressure light that has two colors red and green. The red comes on at about 1 psi to let you know alky is flowing. The green comes on at about 4 psi when it the pump has reached full pressure. It is a very safety oriented system.
