I plan on running like 4.5 psi of boost on my supercharger coming in. I've heard that alcohol injection is to run high boost because it freezes the intake air. Well i'll be running a roots type blower without an intercooler. So do you think it'll ad hp?

 

well 1st off if you are going supercharger on an LT1 its not a roots.... not to bash on you sorry anyways water/meth/alcohol would help and would make some more power due to lower intake temp and would also help keep down the exhaust temp but not too much. you have to watch out on what you inject though some engines do better on 50/50 water/meth Vs 100 meth or alcohol just gotta experiment here is the place i will be buying my kit from www.snowperformance.com im gonna just go with the base injection hope this helps if not im sure you can e-mail them and they will be able to help you out more

 

yes it is roots, it's a B&M roots type 144 series blower, i'm modding to fit lt1 heads. Thanks for the info!

 

dude thats nuts i wanna see that.. not trying to like bust on you or anything its just that iv never seen that done before and i know they dont just make a kit that bolts up to a LT1. so how do you plan on doing this? gonna just buy a SBC blower and find a way or what? its gonna look cool as hell. as far as the injection iv see guys inject it b4 the turbo so im sure you can inject it b4 the blower and it should help alot in that case. anyways send me a picture when you are done so i can check it out man good luck
