Already did a search, but came up empty on specifics. Any proven pumps in use out there? Otherwise I'm planning to just order a new one from Vortech, since it's served me well so far...just noisy like it's got a bad bearing or something.

 

The OEM pump used on ford products ( lightning, cobra) seems like a better piece than the vortec pump. I think the ford pump is on there perf book.

pm me i use the ford lightning pump and have an extra i bought a year ago and never used...i didnt know how durable it would be but i drove the car almost dailyt over the summer and it worked awesome. very quite too...mine is inside the passenger compartment.
