aeromotive question

i'm mounting an a1000 and getting ready to wire it. i didn't get the directions with it, what size of wire/ relay are needed????

10-12 ga wire and a 40 amp relay.

i've seen 30 amp relays but 40??? were do i look?

also, should i eiliminate the stock relay and switch to the 40 amp there?

I used 8 gauge wire with a relay in the back and wired it up through a switch up front.

This is a late response but the 40 amp relay I mentioned is something that comes from Aeromotive supplied usually by Bosch. Working amperage is 30 as the A1000 has the potential to draw up to 25 amps or so when running high pressure such as under boost. If you use a relay rated for 30 amps continuous you will be fine.
