I hope that Chris posts up the other 2-3 slips since the MPH was in the 150's for all of them...

He was pretty happy last nite we should have went and got some buffalo wings and some strippers!!!!!!!
First congrats to Chris on running a 9 thats awesome!! However, your statement is pretty bold, "fastest and quickest Lt1". Was this conclusion drawn because no faster times have been posted before? Theres plenty out there that dont visit message boards such as this, including my buddy running his PT88 turbo Lt1.

Thats the fastest Ive heard of next to Baxter,

Id say he has the right to say that..

If your buddy is faster, good for him, but he isnt on this board, and no one knows him, so it doesnt mean a hill of **** to anyone else on this board..

Good for you man, 159mph is quite impressive..

Thats the point, its like the old saying, if a tree falls in the woods(the timeslip) and nobody is there to hear it(anyone one on this board), does it still fall?
One may witness/make an 8 second pass on a LT1 block but never go posting it around the internet because it not of great importance. All that may be of importance are the cars with in the area who he or she are competing with.
I dont intend to start a big flame over this I just wanted vent the other variables.
Thats all I wanted to say, thanks!

Chris have you made it a tube car? have you ever strapped the car down on a chasis dyno?

Chris is a stock frame with stock suspension points.

He has not gotten a full dyno pull on it but it did 740rwhp once on an Eddy current dyno but that was at like 5500 rpms.

Very nice......people mention T88 over the YS, but heck the YS and T88 have the same basic output CFM wise. I don't think he would see a big difference is power, other then gain a few ponies from less parasitic loss. Either way...very nice run for him.

This 3300lb 10.5X28" tire V6 regal has a single 88mm turbo and I bet he is faster than any YS-trim car at the same weight!!! The 88 turbo makes more than a few ponies over the YS-trim blower.....

Oh yeah this same car at the same weight has run 5.20 @137mph in the 1/8th recently (still with the single 88mm turbo) and that would be an easy 8.0h-7.90 pass in the 1/4 considering he ran 5.6 in the 1/8th on the 8.30 passes......

Food for thought

That is true.....a small frame 88 is probably only good for 155 on a 3500 lbs car. A large frame 88 will make considerable more power.
