6lbs

I was thinking about a supercharger but I keep reading that I will need a rebuild. Will I need one even if I run like 6 lbs of boost.

A stock shortblock has a decent chance of surviving 6lbs of boost. No guarantees though, and the performance increase from 6psi. while substantial, will not make your car "omigod" fast.
