60lbs or 75 lbs Injectors

What is the max hp that the 60lb mototronHi IND injector will support?
Did they release the 72lb version yet, and where is the best place to buy them from?
Thanks
Marcin

Depends on fuel pressure and BSFC. But in general, in a SC V-8 running in the 45psi range (boost referenced) 60lb injectors ought to be good to ~750hp.

I went w/ RC high Z 72's. Bit more expensive but they'll handle 1000hp. Should have them next wk I hope.

Marcin I bought them from Lightning Motorsports. 780 bucks. Can't remember the guy I spoke to but I asked if he had them for LT1's and he did and in stock, also come w/ flow sheet. Could've bought them direct from RC but I could never get them to answer their phone.

You took it dry bro! Damn...$100 a piece. For that price you might as well jus buy low impdednce 72's for 300-350shippd (i see them all the time forsale) and buy an impedence converter fo $250-300. Atleast you have room to grow down the road.

I've never seen low impedance for the price you've stated. Ever. I sure as hell wasn't gonna buy used and the impedance box was a no-no for me. I don't do wires. LOL! Also at the time I wasn't sure if I was gonna risk it (the engine) and have faith on some make shift mail order tune and if I did at least I didn't have to worry about the injectors not being high Z's. I eventually came to the realization of just getting a stand alone unit but the injectors actually forced me to go that route. So I payed a pretty price and did take it dry but I wanted high Z's. It wasn't my $$ anyways. But I see you point.

Still everywhere I've looked low Z's are 75-90 bucks a pop except Racetronix.
Doh!

Yeah I saw that. LOL! No sweat. These will handle 1000 and I will get close to 800-850 if I'm lucky.

i bought 75lb/hr injectors for $270 shipped and a used accelleronics box for $200 shipped. Ya just gotta look around instead of impulse buying.

I am talking used on the injectors. I have no problem buying injectors used. Set your injecto constant and make sure everything looks good at idle and part throttle. Should be fine at WOT once you have determined the size of the injectors is correct in the tune.

Why do need so much fuel for a 350rwhp combo... It'll never make power

It's all about the flamethrower exhaust mod. It needs to be running super rich to get 15ft flames out the tailpipes.
