355 or 383 for supercharger?

in the planning stages of building a new motor for the 94 Z28. Will have a fully forged bottom end, will be a daily driver that will see the strip on the weekends. Will also be running a 50-100 shot for added intercooling and power at the strip
Would i be better off with a 355 running 14-18# of boost, or a 383 with 8-12# of boost?

also, what compression ratio do you suggest for each scenario?

Can we assume your basis for this question is an LT1 engine? If so, this should be posted on "Forced Induction". I'll move it there for you.

As I have posted about eleventy billion times, if you are buying a new crank and pistons anyway, there is no good reason not to use a 3.75" crank for a blower car. Going bigger may be an issue in terms of adequate compression height for the pistons.

I agree with Rich. The "lack" of mid-range boost from a centrifugal supercharger is supplemented by the additional stroke.
