24X and boost, what spark plugs?

I'm running a 24X EFI connection LS ignition on my TC-78 383 with brodix heads. Probably start around 10-15psi and go from there. What spark plugs and gap should I run. Keep in mind this is a coil on plug setup with the more powerful D585 coils. Also how high should I spin the motor? I'm running LS7 lifters, custom Lloyd Elliot billet turbo cam, 1.65 crower rockers, AFR studs, isky guideplates, and hardened pushrods.

Also, they say the LSX spark plug wires won't work as they aren't long enough. What are you EFI connection guys running?

Everyone is making their own. Supposedly you can use your existing LT1 wires since the distibutor boot will fit the coil. I'll be finding out for myself tomorrow morning if this is true. But most just order a set of MSD 8.5's and cut to fit. This was the part numbers given to me by the LS1tech guys.

Summitracing:
MSD Ignition 32079 - Red
MSD Ignition 32073 - Black

Original plan was to order a custom set of magnecores, which I still may do.

Wire length will depend on where you mount your coils. I had mine mounted on a set of MBA fuel rail covers and I had to make my own. I used a Taylor universal set and ordered a set of Opti boots.

What did you guys have to do to fire up the car because of the difference in firing order? I know EFI connection swaps the injector connections to compensate, but does anything have to be done to the PCM internally before you can start the car? I have EFI live, so I can make adjustments if needed, but for the most part I'm going to leave all the tuning up to the dyno tuner. Would it be safe to drive 40 miles before a tune if I stay out of the boost, or would it be better to trailer it down their?

Don't you have to load up the base tune for a van or something?

If you have a trailer then use it.

I wish I had a trailer. I might have to find one.

If you don't have a trailer you should be ok to drive it to the dyno with a basic tune. Might want to take a fresh set of plugs with you though.

Alright, so I ordered some custom MSD wires and made up a bracket to hold the coils above the valve cover, but I still don't know what heat range spark plug to run. I'll probably stick with NGK iridium's.
