.96 or 1.15 a/r housing?
.96 or 1.15 a/r housing?
Long story short
I have purchased a log kit from real quick like 2-3 yrs ago one of his 1st. This one came off of 1982z28with18s car.... Anyways lost interest in this for a good while, the other day I was figuring how much $$$ i have in this pit, which made me decided to go ahead and get the thing going.
To the point:
Which exhaust housing would be better for this kit, the .96 or the 1.15 twin scroll. I am thinking the 1.15 as it will flow more up top and spool almost identical to the .96 housing. Any insight on this would be appreciated...

Re: .96 or 1.15 a/r housing?
Why do you say spool will be almost identical?
What is your boost pressure and actual flywheel power?
P-trim exhaust wheel? S-trim? 76mm compressor?
If the car is your daily driver the .96 might be a smarter choice since it will shift the powerband a bit lower than the 1.15. If you're just trying to impress with numbers or running at the track I'd try the 1.15 and go from there.

TC76 F-1 GTK Turbine wheel. Hoping to run it at 14/15 lbs no low/high boost setting. I want it to run top notch all the time no excuses. Lot of h/c/n20 ls1's around here. this car will be more of a weekend cruzer
