I just got my Vortech elbow back today from the powdercoaters....there won't be a problem powdercoating the inside of the pipes will there? Makes them nice and smooth without polishing.

Jake (NtenseZ28) is my brother, and he had a whole stash of tools in my garage when it decided to recreate The Big Bang... It's been over 8 months, and I swear some stuff is still in flight! The nitrous bottle out of my stroked/sprayed WS6 landed 800 feet away...you don't wanna know what happened to the car... 
Jake-I wouldn't sweat the powdercoating on the inside. As long as it doesn't start flaking off inside you motor...
Probably be fine, tons of guys running coated intake tubes with no horror stories to my knowledge.

'katucked' my tubular K-member with a ball peen hammer...and it created a slight peen in the steel...and the powdercoating bent with it...didn't chip off. Nice powdercoating job BMR!!
PLUS...you never know when you need some extra street cred with the ricers...700hp might not cut it with them....but when they see powdercoated intercooler pipes...the rice will fall from the heavens!

Just pimping out an 84 S10 is gonna be hot to them....nevermind that fact that it's twin turbo. Remember...these punks are tricking out Olds Aurora's and Chevy Lumina's...they're desperate to see anything!
The Ferrari's on the other hand will be pretty ticked off when a S-10 beats down their $400,000 car.
Actually...I'd be pretty ticked off too if I lost to ur S-10 in my car!!
