Does anyone run a weiand 177 combo?Hp numbers,dyno numbers,dragstrip times? I'm getting ready to install a 177 blown 406 with 210 afr's comp 236/242
114 lc roller in my car, just waiting on my new converter to get here.

 

I think most everybody here is running a cetrifugal blower, like the Vortech and procharger. I remember one guy ran an eaton for a short time but ended up ditching it and getting a Vortech.

 

I Have Seen A Few Posts In Here About Them, So I Know Somebody Must Have A Combo Up And Running. A Lot Of People Run The Vortec Style Blowers, But I Like The Idea Of The Bottom End Torque Of The Roots, To Get The Car Moving, Especially A Heavy Street Car! My Buddy I Purchased The Blower From, I Know Ran 9.70's In His 70' Chevelle. Anybody Else Got One?

 

I saw a roots blower on a 4th gen at the CC Summer Nats in Minnesota last year, but didn't get to talk to the guy. He had to cut a notch out the bottom of his windshield to get it all in there.

So, yeah, someone else out there has one, but sorry there's no more info than that.

 

9.70's, Of Course, That Was On Alcohol. I'll Be Happy If It Runs 11's On Gasoline, Maybe Faster With A 100 Shot. Come On, Anybody Else Have A Running Sbc/weiand 177 Combo?
