500cid short block and other stuff...

Several parts for sale for first gens:

Moroso Drag Springs, Merlin block new in crate, 4.0 stroke forged crank, 6.385 forged rods, Arias Top Fuel pistons 4.48 bore to make a 500 inch S/C motor, 6" Glasstek Cowl hood with lightweight springs (not lift off), 1 7/8" Hedman Headers, 2x 3" Center inlet/outlet Flowmasters, Weiand 177 Pro/Street blower for Long water pump BBC with oval port heads, 2x 275/60 15 Drag Radials (put em on, took em off), all the parts are either new or like new condition. I can take digital pics easily enough and email them if anyone is interested.

If anyone really feels like getting carried away, the entire car can be had as well. 1968 Camaro that runs mid tens at over 132mph in street trim with air conditioning on pump gas, power four wheel disc brakes, Strange Dana 60 w/35 spline axles, Hughes trans with brake (never used yet) with spare convertor, Gear vendor to drive home on the freeway after the track, Vintage Air A/C, 6 way adjustable seats, 10pt cage nicely tigged in, rear seat reinstalled, all carpeted with sound deadening. I mini-tubbed the car last December but did not cut or relocate the frame rails but did add cross bracing to the frame for the extra torque. All the seams have been fully sealed with body sealer before I painted the wheel wells so there is no smoke or moisture coming in. 28 by 14.50 Hoosier QT Pros in back. All welds done are tig where possible. All autometer gauges that I installed into the original speedometer/tach dash area with LED turn signals, complete MSD ignition with through/firewall connectors. The MSD system includes a three step and a 3 stage retard system. There is a Twin Gemini 500hp plate system with NX Digital Maximizer on the 540" motor as well. The engine runs on 91 octane pump gas without detonation but hasnt been run with the nitrous yet. Obviously you would use C16 for that. Return style fuel system. The NX Twin Gemini system is wired except for the bottle heater (15lb bottle on nice tigged steel setup in trunk) and the safety equipment for the nitrous. The heads are CNC ported Victors with a hand ported/flowed Super Victor intake and 1190 King Demon carb. I didnt spare anyting putting this together, all the best parts and only the best parts, even the air cleaner is a custom spun aluminum setup. Sheet metal valve covers with shogun breathers. The only thing holding this car back from being really fast is the compression and cam. I wanted a big bruiser for the street that I could fuel up anywhere and this is what it turned out to be. Possible trades +/- cash for interesting cars???
