The new Cat-Back 3" MagnaFlow kit(#15620) was installed by Exhaust Specialties in Portland, OR last Friday. They did a great job and all seams are welded.
The SS tips that came with the kit look really hot. The sound is quite different than my old Flowmaster setup. It has a really low frequency growl when just cruising around that's not too loud but not too quiet either. When I put the pedal to the metal the sound between the exhaust and the Blower is absolutely incredible. I'm really liking this kit.
Time to update my sig.

You and i are in the same boat.I have had my Flowmaster for 7yrs.and i am tired of the sound and the drone on the highway.I also want slightly quieter at idle tone.I don,t have the Hooker # handy but it,s the one that comes w/their super comp.3in. c/b system.I paid under $100.00 @Checker Auto in AZ. and since i don,t drive my car in winter the stainless construction wasn,t needed.Hope this helps you out .
