What muffler for flow and deep tone?
#16
The new Cat-Back 3" MagnaFlow kit(#15620) was installed by Exhaust Specialties in Portland, OR last Friday. They did a great job and all seams are welded.
The SS tips that came with the kit look really hot. The sound is quite different than my old Flowmaster setup. It has a really low frequency growl when just cruising around that's not too loud but not too quiet either. When I put the pedal to the metal the sound between the exhaust and the Blower is absolutely incredible. I'm really liking this kit.
Time to update my sig.

Hooker Aero Chamber Muffler
I want to replace my muffler without losing the great sound. What would be the best for flow and sound? I want the type that has 1 inlet and 2 going to the tips. I love the deep tone and sound i get now. I am going to run a 3" pipe back to the muffler so it would have to be a 3" muffler.
