Stock y-pipe diameter

What is the stock diameter of the y-pipe on a 2000 Camaro SS? I want to get a single electric exhaust cutout and mount it right before the differencial.

The pipe that goes over the rear axle is the "intermediate" pipe, not the Y-pipe. On the LT1's, its 2.75". Not sure about your LS1.

The stock Y pipe is 2.5in but it's flattened on the driver's side for the transmission mount clearance. The pipe that goes over the axle should be 2.75, i'm pretty sure that's the size.
