what do the tips have to do with the type of exhaust??

had stock tips with a flowmaster setup when i first got my car.

if you want to know, stock tips are 2.25" inlet....most catbacks are 2.5" tailpipes

The stock tips inlets are too small for most aftermarket exhaust systems which typically have 2.5" tailpipes. Also, the stock tips are not symetrical so they will not look right unless you modify the location of the tailpipes on the aftermarket system.

We sell high polished T304 stainless steel Z28 style replacement tips for just this reason. Check out our online catalog in the exhaust section for details.

I was just wondering cause i will be getting rid of my loudmouth soon in favor of a quieter performance exhaust, and when i do get a new i would like to put stock tips back on. So it looks like i will get the tips from fast toys!!!
