Make sure to include some blondes, or is that Switzerland?

I hope they sent your hangers. The GMMG looks very unique, imo, and it sounds very good.

We sure have some nice blondes in Sweden lol

Luckily I have a friend in Marietta, GA who picked it up for me, shipped it to me and made sure everything was there. Clamps hangers etc.

Hey Bill... got any sound clips of your car? Trying to find some of a GMMG on an LT1 with longtubes and an ORY...

Sorry, I don't. I'm behind the technology curve. What does everyone use to record sound clips these days? My car is in KY anyway. I could try to get some the next time I go home, but I'm not sure when that will be. I did like the way it sounded when I got it all together.

I used to live in Marietta, or very, very close.

I'm not Bill, but here you go: http://www.lt1engine.com/media/exhaust.php
And GMMG has sound bites on their site: http://gmmginc.net/Exhaust/

LOL I looked a bit closer at the parts in the gmmg box and all the hangers and clamps are there but there is no "s"-pipe in the end of the I-pipe that connects to the CAT, just straight pipe. I have 95 m6 with ONE cat and I clearly stated that when I ordered..

Not that big of a deal I can fab my own but it had sure been a bit easier to just bolt it on!

You should go ahead & get some Kooks headers and their ORY. The GMMG mated up perfectly to that combo.

Bill - how "intrusive" is the GMMG? Is it much louder than Flowmaster,
Magnaflow, and Hooker? How is it at idle? And how is it with a mild
pull-away from a dead stop? Does it bring the neighbors outside?

I apologize, but I can't really answer any of your questions. I haven't driven my car since I installed the headers and exhaust. It's still on jackstands in my brother's shop. I got the exhaust on just a couple of hours before I left Ky to come back to Michigan after Christmas. I can say that I liked the way it sounded outside of the car, both at idle and throughout the entire rpm range. I honestly didn't think it was overwhelmingly loud. It sounded kind of deep & throaty, which is the sound I was looking for. Aside from sound clips, I've honestly never knowingly heard a Flowmaster or Magnaflow on our cars, so I really have no idea how it compares.

Sorry.

Im gonna stick with the edelbrocks for now, due to ground clearence and some other ****..

Do you remember if you had like an s-shape in the end of yours or just straight pipe?

I didn't have to use an s-pipe. The GMMG lined up perfectly with the Kooks Y-Pipe, and all they provided was just a straight I-Pipe. What kind of Y-Pipe are you using? Do you still have your stock exhaust? I think it may have had an s-pipe. GMMG did mention that I might need an s-pipe, but I think that only applied if you're running the stock y-pipe.

If you're really interested in the Kooks, I honestly couldn't tell any difference in the ground clearance compared to the stock exhaust system. They probably tuck up tighter than any LT1 header on the market. Of course, I haven't looked at every header out there. Do you have emissions to take into consideration? LPP has some new stainless headers coming out that are pretty cheap. They appear to be clones of the Kooks, but I'm not sure what kind of ground clearance they might provide. If they are a Kooks clone, the clearance is probably similar.
