single dumped bullet

right now I have the flowmaster cb with my lts/ory and it sucks,I might be getting my old tsp rumbler back from a friend so I was thinking of putting that back on and cutting the tailpipes off and dumping the bullet in front of the axle, would that sound better and flow better than what I have now?

or even simpler could I just cut off the rear section of the exhaust I have now and put a 3" bullet on the end?

Once in an emergency (I got hit in the rear and crushed the muffler and tailpipes of my Random Technology system), I cut off the midpipe and put a 3" bullet muffler and turndown on the end, dumping just ahead of the rear axle. It actually sounded pretty good, but was really too loud, even with cats. It would have to flow great though,it was essentailly straight through.

I've got Jet hots, off road y-pipe, and a single bullet muffler right before my axle. Still not loud enough for me. It sounds better when i take the muffler off and just run the open y-pipe. I was thinking about putting a 4" turn down on the end of my y-pipe.

I use to have it all the way over the axle and into a flowmaster muffler, sounded stock still when i was going down the track. so i ditched the catback.

i have the LT's and an ORY with a spintech muffler and dumped right before the axle. It sounds mean as hell. Even before my motor swap it sounded good. I have on a flowmaster catback which was ok, but once i put the headers and y-pipe it sounded like a true muscle car. I so ditch the catback if you dont mind it being a little loud and sound good
