Sealing 2 piece jethot primary?

I recently got my Hooker Super Comp's from Jethot and the passenger side #8 primary tube is 2 pieces slip fit. What would you guys recommend to seal this up as I don't want a leak. Split BLM's are a pain as it is, and I don't need to add to it with a leaking header.

Thanks

You my friend have just asked an age old question :-) Alot of people just say screw it and weld around it. Personally, when i installed it, i put some oil around the tube, put her in, and it doesn't leak. Some people have issues with it leaking, but I bet its a header bolt rather then that. Ghetto jb weld im sure works also :-D I've heard someone using high temp rtv, but that didn't work to well

I smeared mine up with copper-safe high temp RTV. I have gone about 5-800 miles since the install and haven't had any leaks out of it.

My slip fit does not leak at all. I have tried the copper RTV in the past and it just burned off. I have been working on a band clamp but I dont hink it is really needed.
