Quiet thin mufflers

I'm thinking about changing over to true duals with an H pipe dumped before the rear axle. What would be a quiet set off thin (high flow) mufflers to use in a set-up such as this? Would something like this flow better than my 3'' cat-back that has a cut-out if I didn't run cut-outs in the duals? Thanks.

Even with a flattened 2.5 pipe I think you will lose ground clearance on the drivers side. I would call mufflex and see if they could make you one of their 3.5 systems and use a oval 3.5 pipe for the long run under the car. I have that system and am thinking of doing this. Check out the Dr. Gas website. They have anything you could ever think to use to build an exhaust.

Hey, I'm going with a custom 3" TD set up with an X and Edelbrock 304 SDTs...They flow great, aren't too loud until you nail it and they are the thinnest I've seen at 3 5/8" thick for the 3" muffler...

true duals with straight thru mufflers will still outflow a 3" catback with a cutout.

the magnaflow 4x9s work great for TD setups...thin, good quality, great sound, and great performance

You can't go wrong with either the Magnaflows or the Edelbrocks...Both flow great...Imho the Edelbrocks sound a bit better, but the Magna are a bit less expensive...
