ok so if i put on pacesetter lt headers with no EGR and cat delete and air pump delete and have the mail order tune take care of this. do i still need to run o2 sensors? thanks for the help.

You can delete the after-cat O2 sensors. They are only there to verify the cats are operating. They can be "tuned out" of the PCM, to prevent a code or SES light.
The pre-cat sensors are required by the PCM to allow it to control the A/F ratio, and to react to changes that throw the A/F ratio off spec. You cannot delete the two pre-cat sensors, unless you choose an "open loop" tune. Running in open loop means the PCM can no longer use the long term fuel corrections to compensate for changes to the engine's operating conditions - e.g. - changes in fuel pressure, changes to the MAF calibration (dirt), minor vacuum leaks, etc.
