I droped by the local hot rod shop with my 93 z and asked about a new muffler. They said it would cost 200 dollars. I was wondering if i did this would it make my car loud and sound mean and also is it a good deal?

what kind of muffler? i assume that estimate includes new tips.

anything will sound louder and meaner than the stock muffler.

i say swap the muffler and use stock tips...save some money.

or put a $40 cutout before the axle. you'll get LOUD and MEAN and a good power increase. and should cost 1/2 of that estimate to install.
