my LT header install

disaster pretty much sums it up... first problem i ran into was a broken header bult in the head on the back passenger side... drilled it out and re-tapped it. So now ok this stuff happens... next issue was the holes drilled in my pacesetter headers didnt match up to the holes in the heades. i had to ream out the holes in the headers. done with that put them on... oh **** gaskets would be nice. take them back off put gaskets in and go through the process once again. next problem the headers hit the floor. had to bend the floor/headers with a BFH. then tape everything up with header wrap including brake lines headers oil pres. sensor... so make my day. tell me your worst header install to make me feel better about mine.

Re: my LT header install

How are your engine/trans mounts? If they are worn or installed incorrectly they can change the motor position causing the headers to come to close or contact the floor.

I have the Pacesetter's and they fit very nice. Nice and tight with the floor with no issues or rubbing.
