Is my car too Low.....
It's not too low to do true duals... but you WILL have to use bullets and it'll have to be custom fabricated to tuck up under the car next to the driveshaft. And you don't need the turndowns directly at the ground, mine are angled down and to the side of the car. I have true duals, but not an x pipe, so it just runs down the side of the car. My car, not being lowered, is probably in the same boat as you with a lowered car and trying to run true duals. I've only scraped a few times, I'm very careful about it.
And I second the 2.5" thing. GO with 2.5".. i noticed a lot less torque with 3" true duals than I had with my 2.5" flowmaster catback. Plus 2.5" duals will be cheaper.

The X/H pipe will increase the scavenging effect for your exhaust pulses. This has been proven to add some HP, but usually isn't anything considerable. I run duals without an X/H pipe due to the fact I didnt have room for what I wanted done. It all depends on what kind of muffler(s), if you run a cat, and where you end your pipes. If you have the room, do an X pipe. It will also smooth out the sound of you exhaust as well.
Thanks guys, I appreciate the help. I would like to run an x pipe into Bullets and then turndowns before the axle....no cats. I just have to run it by my exhaust guy and give him a wad of cash. I'll let you know how it tuns out. Thanks again!
