muffler with turndown or tailpipes
muffler with turndown or tailpipes
which sounds louder and better?? im switching mufflers soon and im thinking of taking off my tailpipes with the 3.5 inch tips and switching to a turndown
from outside the car it should sound the same...
by going from tips to turndowns (on the same muffler) the only real difference would probably be a bit more resonance inside the car from the sound reverberating off the ground and the car.

I had a cat back and then dumped it before my axle with a turn down. The dump is a little bit louder, and when u get on it, the dump makes it sound mean as hell. I had the TSP Rumbler, and I just bought another dynomax bullet, but went with a 12" instead of a 18" and imo it sounds a lot meaner and choppier. The dump makes my car sound meaner than what it really is.
