Saw an LS1 Z28 driving around today... had a sweet-sounding exhaust. Pulled up next to the guy and asked what it was. Magnaflow!

It's quite a bit louder than my Corsa.

I still can't find the digital camera, so the cell phone will have to do.

I'm seriously debating whether I should dump my SLP Loudmouth and go with a Magnaflow. Opinions?

We just installed a Magnaflow two days ago and am really impressed. Really deep subdued rumble at idle, just a little louder that stock, but get it over 3000 and it roars!

The whole system is stainless, not just the tips. For the money you can't beat it. I put mine on a 94' with headers and no cats- when you get on it the bitch screams.

It will get a bit louder as you break it in too.

Not an LT1 car owner, but a very happy Magnaflow owner....

I went from STOCK catback,
to BORLA adjustable (which I absolutely hated the sound of),
back to STOCK,
and finally...
MAGNAFLOW

No issues with my tailpipe spacing/placement though...

Not too much louder than stock when cruising on the highway, but absolutely ROARS at WOT...

You may want to try Borla XR-1 bullet, I've been using it welded in place of resonator of SLP LM for a long time, absolutely no rasp or popping.
