Mac 95 headers on 97, will it bolt up??

Sorry if this has been asked, I did a search and didnt find my anwer. Im looking at getting the MAC 95 style single cat headers since they appear to be a better design, question is will they bolt up to my 97 with out a trip to the muffler shop? Im wanting a system I can bolt up, save money and perform good.
Im looking at the MACs or the Jet Hot long tubes I just dont know if the performance of the long tubes are wore the extra money and the MACs are 1 3/4.

The only way this will truly bolt up is if you have the mac off road pipe or catted pipe and a 95 cat back. So if you are replacing the entire exhaust yes. If not no. But a trip to the muffler shop isn't that bad for a few simple welds.

I think someone makes an "S" pipe to adapt a single-cat header outlet to a dual-cat intermeidate pipe.

The Macs have 1 5/8" primaries. The shorty headers for LT1s that have 1 3/4" primaries are:
AS&M
RKSport
TPIS
SLP

You'll also find a lot of people referring to some headers as "mid-length". There is no such thing. Just because a header has 1-2" more primary tube length doesn't make a difference; it's still a shorty header. There's shorty headers and long tube headers, end of story.

I got my pipe size mixed up, Ive looked at so many options. For the total price and trouble of having the Macs made to work I might as well go Pacesetter and be able to install everything myself. THanks for the anwer guys.
