as&m with BMR K-Member random tech y clearance

Hey guys, I've been searching all morning trying to see if this has been covered before, I haven't been able to find the right search terms if it has.

I've got the motor out of the car and am assembling everything on it so that I can put it in from the bottom. As I started putting the AS&M driver side header on, I noticed it is extremely tight clearance on the BMR K-member and also, when I put the random cat Y on, it makes contact with the oil pan so that doesn't seem right either. I haven't torqued all the bolts down yet, but i don't think I can get that much more clearance on it by torquing it down, all the bolts are on tight. on the header. Any thoughts ?

I've got it all torqued down and i'm still getting contact on the driver side of the oilpan. it looks as if I may need to have to have the ypipe cut and rebent a bit.

Sometimes buying used stuff saves money, but leaves you kind of in an unknown situation. I'll post pics later for future reference for others.

Here's a pic of the interference. The motor mount tab of the kmember is in direct contact with the collector flange...

And this is the close up...

This pic doesn't show the ypipe making contact with the oil pan either. So I'm on the look for long tubes...

HOpe this helps others.

so whats the scoop. I want a tubular K-member and I already have AS&M headers with their y-pipe.
Can you just clearance the motor plate on the k-member?

you can if you want, i got it all to bolt up but as you can see it was resting on the k-member, i went another route, went LPP's.
