LT1 True Duals Q's

Thinking about picking up some LT's and go true duals, just had a couple q's

-Should I run 2.5" duals or go for 3"? After I complete my build I'm only looking for about 500whp MAX. I understand the 3" will support more power but if I can run a 2.5" for less money, have better ground clearance, and without sacrificing any power why not? also on the true dual cars I've heard in person the 2.5" vs 3" with the same dynomax bullets on both, the 2.5" did sound cleaner and had a more liveable volume to it. so pretty much just wondering if anybody thinks I will hit some performance ceiling with a 2.5" true dual setup for my goals

-also does anyone have any sound clips or opinions on true dual setups on LT1s with anything but bullets? I understand bullets are cheap and have better clearance, but I'm looking for something different, whether it be one-chamber flows, 40 series, etc

i'd say run a 2.5 because if you're running true duals with a 2.5 you'll be good for up to about 520 bhp. that's more than enough so unless you're going to make a race car with a supercharger or turbo or something you dont need anything much bigger. it'll flow plenty good and sound even better.

check the sticky on dual exhausts it give a list of what diameters are good for what hp numbers.
