LT Headers
You will burn gas like it's cool. And you will smell gas while you're driving. I did it for like a week before I finally got time to put the y-pipe on, and my O2s still work fine. But I would recommend changing them anyways for routine maintenance.
With the O2 sensors in the collectors, running open headers will most likely result in the engine running pig rich, because the backwash of fresh air causes the sensors to report a lean condition. If you are running an open loop tune, that obviously would negate this problem.
Thanks for all the info. So I'm guessing if I run some pipe a little ways out from the collector I won't run into the running rich problem? I mean my car isn't my daily driver so honestly I'm just looking to make it the loudest possible. For some reason I like being obnoxiously loud

I would not run straight headers. In case you've never heard or driven a car with open headers, it becomes unbearably loud and annoying after a while. Like posted above, i would at least dump it right before the axle.
Eh, not going to debate it, but I dout back pressure has anything to do with it.
Thats exactly what im doing until tuesday.
Whoa, just noticed this is an old thread. I guess my post was not needed lol.
