Loudest exhaust i can get on 93 z28?

Im wanting to put exhaust on and I want it to be loud where you hear it really loud outside and inside. Something that draws attention its so loud. But it has to be a good sound i dont want a american 5.7 muscle to have a honda ricer sound . The closest exhaust shop by me will take off the cats and im also wanting to keep my stock z28 tips. Let me know im deciding on gmmg taking off the cats;Flowmasters 80 series taking off the cats; Slp loudmouth 1 or 2 taking off the cats;.

Thanks

If your wanting it that loud just get straight pipes. You can try that out for really cheap and if you don't like it you can easily go to something else. The SLP LM exhaust is pretty loud. Magnaflow also makes a muffler that is a straight through design, I can't remember what it is called though. Or you could try putting in a resonator. Just a couple of options for LOUD.

With headers, the O2 sensors are usually in the collectors. If you run those without a pipe extension, the backwash from the outside air will throw the O2 sensors off.

I'd spend the money beefing up the engine so it sounds loud on its own, because it makes big power... not because you left the exhaust system off.... but that's just me.

Thanks guys

I really like dmh i have heard really good things about them. If i were to get a DMH electric cutout and take off my cats and everything else is stock how loud would my car be when its open? I want it to be loud where you can barely talk its so loud and you can hear it a long ways off. Also want it to be loud when idleing. Will this do the trick?

Electric cutout will make it sound Like a straight pipe while open, then with the push of a button yur back to stock. I wouldn't recommend running straight headers, especially over an extended period of time.

I recommend GMMG exhaust, I have no cats but it still sounds awesome. I get compliments on it all the time.

Ditto. Wish i had headers though, a little raspy at times without the cat. I almost liked the sound better when I had the cat on there but the cutout took the place of that.

Depends on the year of your car, which you never told us.

Why not add a "signature" with basic info about your car - year, model, engine, tranny and any major mods?
